This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and services provided by Speerbijter. The effective date of this policy is December 12, 2019, and all previous versions are superseded with the publication of this new version. This privacy policy describes what data we collect about you, how it is used, with whom and under what circumstances this data may be shared, how we store it, how we protect it from misuse, and what rights you have with regard to your personal data. If you have any questions about our privacy policy, please contact our privacy officer, whose details are provided at the end of this policy.
Data Processing
Here you can read how we process your data, where we store it, what security techniques we use, and who has access to this data.
Webshop Software
We use MyOnlineStore to develop our webshop. Personal data you provide us for our services is shared with this partner. MyOnlineStore has access to your data to provide us with technical support, but they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on our agreement with them, MyOnlineStore is obliged to implement appropriate security measures. They use cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, but no personal data is collected or stored.
Web Hosting
We use the services of MijnWebwinkel for our regular business email communications. This partner has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your data. MijnWebwinkel does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all email communications confidentially.
Payment Processors
We use Mollie to handle payments in our webshop. Mollie processes your name, address, and payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Mollie may use your data to improve its services and share anonymized data with third parties for this purpose. All protections related to your personal data also apply to third parties involved in Mollie’s services. Mollie does not retain your data longer than allowed by applicable laws.
Shipping and Logistics
We use PostNL to deliver your orders. To do this, we must share your name, address, and residence information with PostNL. PostNL uses this data only to fulfill the delivery. If PostNL employs subcontractors, they may also have access to your data for this purpose.
Billing and Accounting
We use external sales channels like Facebook. If you place an order through Facebook, Facebook shares your order and personal details with us. We use this information to process your order. We handle your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it from loss and unauthorized use.
Purpose of Data Processing
We only use your data for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the processing of your data is always directly related to the request you make. We do not use your data for targeted marketing. If you share your data with us and we later use it to contact you for any purpose other than your request, we will explicitly ask for your consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties unless necessary to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all required to keep the data confidential under agreements or legal obligations.
Automatically Collected Data

Cooperation with Fiscal and Criminal Investigations
In some cases, Speerbijter may be required by law to share your data with government authorities for fiscal or criminal investigations. In such cases, we are obligated to share your data, but we will resist doing so to the extent allowed by law.
Retention Periods
We retain your data for as long as you remain a client. This means we will retain your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this, we will treat it as a request to erase your data. Due to applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices with your personal data for the duration required by law. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile or documents created from your orders.
